NATIONAL NUTRITION MONTH

I wanted to teach my patients and other clinicians about how to create delicious low-sodium foods for my National Nutrition Month initiative.

We gave information regarding sodium intake, and provided alternative seasonings at a special area in the dining room.

PROFESSIONAL RESEARCH PROJECT PRESENTATION

My clinical rotation culminated in a Professional Research Presentation which I completed on the topic “Phytosterols as part of the TLC Diet for patients with diabetes and stroke.” This was also presented by me at the Olathe Health System annual Stroke Symposium.
